Progress Report: Week of May 4

I'm going to be tracking my progress in certain areas (career, fitness, house/organization) in order to help myself to work towards those goals.






M = Monday, T = Tuesday, W = Wednesday, R = Thursday, F = Friday, Sa. = Saturday, Su. = Sunday

Career

• E-mailed The Kean Review for their submission guidelines (M). Got an automatic response back that day, saying that if it's a submission, they read irregularly and encourage people to simultaneously submit to other publications. They only notify people if their work is accepted! Also, their Web site isn't working. I think I'll look elsewhere.
• Read through the poetry in a Philadelphia Stories collection to determine which poems to send them.

Fitness

• Weight lifting (M - upper body; R - lower body); DDR (M - 30 min.; T - 30 min.; R - 35 min.); Walking (Su. - 40 min.)
• Weight and measurements (R): down 3 pounds (yay!); chest, down 1/4 inch; hips, down 3/4 inch.

Otakon

• Fielded 20 press relations requests and answered miscellaneous press relations correspondence.
• Found two more members of press relations staff.
• Prepared a press release for publication.

Wild Violet

• Attended Nikki Giovanni reading and asked her about an interview. She agreed to contact me to set something up for the Fall issue.

Other

• Worked on my wedding photo book at the Kodak Gallery site.
