As regular readers know, I am attempting to watch all the movies that have received the Oscar for Best Picture. Next on my list was the 1938 winner, You Can't Take it With You, directed by Frank Capra and starring Jean Arthur, Lionel Barrymore, James Stewart and Edward Arnold. This is a lighthearted film that keeps the viewer laughing.

I am currently taking the last two courses required for securing elementary (K - 6) teaching certification. One of the courses I am taking is an African and African-American Studies course called "Evolving Status of Blacks in the Twentieth Century: Interdisciplinary Perspectives." The course requires that I create an online survey designed to research opinions on a race related subject. I will then write an expository essay that draws on the survey's findings. I need to secure as many responses to my survey in the next two weeks as possible. If you would like to help, please complete the survey by following the link at the end of this email. The survey should only take a few minutes of your time. If you feel really generous, you can forward this email on to all of your friends, family and co-workers and ask them to do the same. The more responses I collect, the better I can support the thesis of my essay.
