Learning to Stand

I shot this video a little more than a week ago but finally got around to posting it. Kung Fu Panda has been trying out his legs. Namely, he enjoys pushing himself up until he is "standing" with assistance.

In this first video, it's a little hard to see, because his legs are cropped out. But I loved his facial expressions, so I decided to share it.

For the second video, I framed it a little further away. You'll notice Una's nose comes into view in the lower lefthand corner of the video. She lies down on the bed and captures KFP's attention. In this one, you can at least see his legs. I'm not holding him up; he's holding his own weight and mainly needs my help for balance. He's still working on neck control.

Moral:
My baby might stand before he can crawl.

That's the best way to describe him. He's a solid, yet wobbly baby guy.

Thank you! I'd been wanting to document his "standing" for a couple weeks and figured I'd better do it now before he gets too good at it.

He is his usual cuteness. Smile! For learning developement you do want him to crawl first though.

Oh, yes, of course. We do put him on his tummy on a regular basis. He's just beginning to be able to lift his upper body.
