You Can Do It!

Kung Fu Panda has been rapidly achieving developmental milestones. While he has been anxious to walk, testing out his legs and strengthening them by insisting on "standing" with assistance as much as possible, he has now taken a major step, so to speak, towards crawling!

And this is why I love babies. Every stage is so cute. And he really is one adorable kidlet!

Thank you! I think he's adorable, but I'm biased. It's great how excited he gets about his achievements.

He is adorable. I need a magic thumb too!

Me, too. I feel like I missed out. I was never much for the thumb sucking.

Of course, I now feel that I was a total failure as a mother.

All the same, yes, he's adorable,
and his thumb is just as amazing as he is...

Awww, no! I'm sure you were a great mother. I just pull out a video camera every once in a while.

He does have a prodigious thumb. A veritable prodigy!

I did not HAVE a video camera until my last baby.
They did not MAKE video cameras when my first two were small, but I do have some Super-8 film of them -- think "silent movies."
Then with favoriteson, I rented a video camera for his birthday when he turned one year old.

Super 8 film is cool! I think you can have that transferred to a DVD nowadays if you want. I'd be sure to check out the service first.

The main reason I have the video camera is because my dad gave it to me. He and Mom are long distance, so I want to keep them up to date.

Funny thing: turns out my parents had a film camera that my grandma gave them when I was little. They NEVER USED IT! I was so disappointed!

We actually watched "home movies" when I was a kid. It was a rare and special event, but it did happen.

Tennyson heard you talking to KFP and put his feet on my lap to watch. LOL! He loves hearing you. Kids are his other favorite thing.

It will seem like yesterday and we will all be talking about the day KFP was trying to crawl. He is getting to be so annimated. Awesome stuff!

It's amazing to watch them develop, isn't it? Soooo cute!

It truly is. What makes it more amazing is that one day, he's not capable of something and the next day, he's doing it as if he's always done it.

He's totally adorable! But I am shocked--shocked-- to discover that his real name is not, in fact, Kung Fu Panda!

^_^ Yes, I had a bit of a slip there, in the excitement of the moment. The funny thing is that so many of my friends, upon meeting him for the first time, say, "It's Kung Fu Panda!"

Oh my gosh, he is so big and so gorgeous! Seriously, what a good-looking boy you have! He's gonna break hearts one day!

Thank you! He seems to have the perfect balance of features from The Gryphon and me.
