Political Articles Published

Two assignments I wrote for Associated Content have been published. Please check them out, and if you like them, share them with your friends. In addition to an up-front payment, I also get paid based on hit count.

The first article is a first-person political story about the race for the 164th District of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

The second article is an opinion piece about the Pennsylvania head of Homeland Security resigning after a brouhaha over his hiring an intelligence firm that violated the privacy of peaceful groups.

I'm also working on an article about "must-read" vampire nonfiction books, which I think would be good for Halloween.

Congrats on getting them published! And with a four-month old baby! Extra congrats are due for that.

Have read each one of them; I know nothing about the background of your articles but the pieces themselves were good; I hope that the people there are sensible enough to publish your work on a regular basis. Once again, congrats and well done!

And hugs to KFP for letting his mummy write articles by being not-too-demanding.

Well, Associated Content has several ways to publish. You can put any article you want up just to receive payment based on hit counts. Or, you can take an assignment. If they approve your work, they pay you an up-front fee as well as the hit counts. It's not as high-paying as a regular magazine job would be, but at least it's bringing in a little extra!

KFP has his days, for sure! Some days, the only time I can grab for myself, I have to try to do something productive related to writing/extra income. That's why I haven't been posting here as much.
