I really need to come up with a movie icon. Anyway, here's an article I wrote about the best movie fights of all time. Discuss!

IIRC,
Jackie Chan's Around the World in Eighty Days
includes a fight scene in which,
during the fight,
he replicates Gene Kelly's "Singing in the Rain" dance number...
but it's been a while sicne I've seen that, so I could be mistaken...

I have to put that movie on my "to watch" list. As much of a Jackie Chan fan as I am, I haven't watched it.

The biggest surprise for me was that it was very true to the book.
I don't think any other movie of it had even tried to be.

Hmm. Should I read the book first?

If you wouldn't mind spending $12.29
the Flatwater Press edition will be available soon.

But only need to read the book if you want to evaluate
how well the movie makers adapted it.

The fight scene in the movie The Quiet Man is fantastic! John Wayne and Victor McLachlen (sp?) stop slugging each other long enough to go into the pub and have a pint, and then they come out and start slugging again.

Overall, that movie gave me the creeps,
but, yes, that scene is funny...

For someone who watches violent movies, shows how much attention I pay to fight scenes, since I can't think of a single one off the top of my head!

I needed to have some help and do some research, too.
