For me, last night was a near total shambles, and I found myself zoning out a lot during performances. The artists that grabbed my attention were MK (liked the way she tried to connect with the audience, but not her best performance), CJ (because the pitch was so dreadful), Jessica (for me, she managed to put over the disconnect between the tune and the lyrics - but I am used to listening to Richard Thompson, who specialises in writing creepy lyrics with shiny happy tunes) and Majesty (because she was being all bubbly like she was when she did "Happy".

Bottom three: CJ and Dexter definitely belong there, and CJ should go home, but I'm worried about MK, since she went first and wasn't at her best. I think she will be in the bottom three, but I'm hoping she won't go home. I'd be surprised to see Caleb there, but it wouldn't be the first time that AI surprised me!

I think one of the things that M.K. has going for her is that she's been improving, whereas C.J. has been floundering. That may make viewers want to see her stick around. C.J. has a nice personality, but he really hasn't shone as much as he had the potential to do. I think he's the one in danger, but we'll see.

In addition, I think M.K. might have a larger group of motivated voters who find her inspirational. Let's hope!

Regarding your Simon Cowell icon, I think it's so old-school it's cool.

Well, that's one correct decision by the voters! Bet he gets the s a 've if he ends up in bottom place (which isn't likely)

That's one of my favourite photos of Simon, but I was thinking of going for something celebrating Keith and Harry's bromance :)

Really, America? REALLY???!! And I'm not sure she'll get the save if she needs it.

I don't understand it, either. But the story's not over yet. It's all going to rely on who's No. 3 to join them in the tulip chairs.

It had better be CJ, otherwise I'll be really pissed! (pretty sure he wouldn't get saved)

This early in the season, it would have to be a so-called frontrunner ending up there to be saved. And honestly, I'm not even sure we have one of those yet!

I think Caleb might be. Also Alex has the Lee Dewyze Stealth Factor.

I'm liking Alex for the win, because he'd strong enough to escape elimination early, has the mother lode of musical talent, and has been improving week after week.

It'll be MK, I just know it :( Hoping against hope the judges will save her...

Damn :(

Oh, drat.

On the bright side, she did make the tour. You could still see her live if you wanted to. I won't, though. Last time I went I was surrounded by teenagers who screamed so loud I couldn't hear anything. It was like going to see the Beatles in 1963.

Oh dear - and Sam is going to be on the tour with his Cute Factor this year. But if I do see them, it'll be at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, if they play there. I saw the tour with Scotty McCreery there, and there wasn't much screaming (even with Stefano Langone there as well), so hopefully I won't be too defended!

*shudder* Stefano. He wasn't any better when he returned to Idol to perform one of his singles. So glad he didn't win.
