This week I loved Caleb and Jena as usual, but found Alex' first song rather disappointing. It was good that he tried something different, but it seemed like he had breathing problems and the low notes were too low for him. I'm honestly a bit worried for him given the way the Facebook votes were going.

CJ was as bad as usual - in American Woman I was thinking "Look guy, there's more than one note in this song and the one you're chosen isn't even in the right key."

Should be CJ going, but who knows? He's survived worse!

I think it helped Alex that they did the real-time votes last night on the show, because it probably rallied people to the cause.

I'm no Jessica fan, but she didn't deserve to be bottom two. It better be C.J. headed home!

And finally, it is!!!

Wonder who it will be next week. Based on talent, it should be Sam, but of course he's so cuuuuuuuuuute! Barf. Also, of the contestants remaining, I think he's the one most likely to appeal to CJ and Dexter's fans.

Well, in that case, it could be Jessica going home. She's got to get over this grudge match with the judges ("dancing diminishes me!") and find a way to break out of her self-imposed box.

Oh good Lord, did she actually say that? I missed it. Very bad move. If the voting's going to be based on attitude rather than talent, she's definitely the next one leaving. After that, we have to hope that talent outweighs cute.

She didn't say that exactly, but she was tweeting actively during last week's performance show, responding to fans who were angry at the judges' comments. She said things like she didn't think she could ever please them, and maybe they just wanted her to pole dance or something! There was an article at mjsbigblog about it:

Probably cost her some votes, even though the blog's author, M.J. herself, is rooting for Jessica.

Ah, I see. I have to agree with MJ that her comments were pretty understandable. I wonder if that was what Harry was reacting to last night when he gave her a good critique and said something like she didn't need to dance around the stage, she could dance standing still. Then JLo and Keith trotted out the same old-same old ::sigh::
